Helping our NHS Heroine Sneh Shah, anaesthetic registrar…

Dr Sneh Shah has been a client with The Vision Clinic for over 20 years. Currently she is working with  COVID patients at the Royal Marsden hospital.

Sneh contacted Tanveer and Jabir  recently because she had accidentally ruined a pair of glasses by decontaminating them with bleach! So what did they do? Well, they replaced her damaged spectacles lenses free of charge.

However, Sneh then went on to say that she was having extreme difficulty with her spectacles under her respirator mask and visor. She said that she was really suffering from a lack of clarity and eyestrain from having to look through her visor all day whilst performing critical procedures such as cannulation.

Having listened to her visual requirements Jabir ordered some safety eyewear frames for her to try. When they came he called her to the practice and she found a pair which was the perfect fit (just like Cinderella)!

David, the technician quickly glazed the eyewear with her spectacle lenses. Sneh collected her new safety eyewear last Saturday. Since Sneh has been putting her life at risk to help save lives Tanveer and Jabir  felt it was only right to offer her the new eyewear on a complimentary basis.

This is the before and after …

This is what Sneh had to say…

Tanveer messaged Sneh yesterday to see how she was getting on. She replied “the new eyewear is great…the goggles make a world of difference.” It made our day.
