Make a difference to those affected by vision loss

CharityAt The Vision Clinic we support several charities dedicated to helping those affected by vision loss.

Fight for Sight

Fight for Sight is a charity that has been funding research into blindness and eye disease for more than 40 years. It’s the optical equivalent to cancer research – “prevention is better than cure”.

In order to support Fight for Sight, our optician Tanveer recently ran in both a 10k and in a half marathon for this great cause. She raised over £1400 for this wonderful charity. Tanveer  has now also run her first Marathon – London 2015 on their behalf. If you want to support her please visit

Vision Aid Overseas

When you buy a new pair of spectacles what do you do with your old pair? Do you leave them somewhere to gather dust or become damaged? What if your old, unwanted glasses could change someone’s life?

At The Vision Clinic we encourage all of our clients to donate their old spectacles so we can pass them on to Vision Aid Overseas. This international charity is dedicated to fighting poverty by transforming access to eye care in developing countries.
